How did you start surfing:
My father use to rent hire boards from the Waikanae Kiosk in Gisborne when
I was 4-5yrs old. My Mother use to warn me about surfers who didn’t have a
job and existed by eating tinned dog food & cabbage.

1990 -1996
Competition strategy:
Go to contests that had cold beer & good t-shirts.
Career highlight:
Being told by Fergo I couldn’t compete at the Byron comp as they believed
I was a pro surfer.

Tell lies to my grandchildren.
